Maternity sessions are best between weeks 29 and 35, when your bump is beautifully rounded and you are still comfortable. There are two studio packages, both with an optional discount when paired with a newborn session.

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during pregnancy, ideally from your second trimester or after your 20-week scan. Michelle takes only a small number of newborn bookings each month so there is room to move the date if baby arrives early or late.

The ideal window is around 4–14 days old, while babies are still very sleepy and naturally curled. Sessions take place in Michelle’s warm home studio in Borras, Wrexham. If your baby is older, please still get in touch—beautiful images can be created beyond that window too.

Allow up to 2.5–3 hours. Every session follows your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles. Family and sibling photographs can add a little time, so it is best not to make plans immediately afterwards.

Plain whites, creams and other soft neutrals photograph beautifully. Blue jeans with a white top or shirt also work well; black or navy are good alternatives. Please avoid large logos, bold designs and stripes. Michelle has a small dress collection for mums, and you are welcome to send outfit photographs in advance if you would like guidance.

Bring your usual feeding supplies, nappies, a dummy if you use one, snacks and something to occupy older siblings. Baby outfits, wraps and props are provided, and the studio is kept cosy and warm.

Your fully edited gallery is normally ready within 3–4 weeks. Please also check your spam folder if you are expecting an email from Michelle.

Yes. Additional digital images can be added to your chosen gallery for £8 each.

A £50 non-refundable deposit secures studio session bookings. Christmas minis use a £30 deposit. The remaining balance and full session details are confirmed with you when booking.
